The Administrative Law Section is designed to serve the interests of public and private sector
attorneys who work with state and local regulatory agencies. Members include assistant attorney
generals, city attorneys (on private contract as well as public employees), county prosecutors
who work on regulatory matters and private practitioners who either contract to represent
government entities or who represent clients subject to government regulation.
The Section produces at least one CLE each year, publishes and distributes a state
agency directory and publishes and continues to supplement the Washington Administrative
Law Practice Manual. The three newsletters per year include summaries of advance sheets
cases from federal and state courts, articles and announcements of interest to the membership.
The Section supports its Local Government Committee.
