Membership Criteria - In accordance with their bylaws, and with the exception of law students, Corporate Counsel Section members must be active members of the WSBA. The Corporate Counsel Section membership is composed primarily of in-house corporate lawyers, with some lawyers from private practice. The Section has four quarterly dinner meetings for socializing, sharing thoughts and listening to a speaker. Approximately 6 or 7 small luncheon get-togethers are also arranged each year for Section members to listen to a speaker and share ideas on selected topics. CLE credit is available when appropriate. Section publications include a quarterly newsletter and an in-house corporate legal directory. Every other year the Section presents its Corporate Law Institute, which is a day-long seminar on topics of interest to the in-house practitioner.
