The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section includes lawyer members and non-lawyer subscribers who share an interest in alternative dispute resolution whether it be resolving a neighborhood dispute or an international crisis. The Section co-sponsors the Annual Northwest ADR Conference with the University of Washington School of Law, produces a periodic newsletter and involves itself in legislative and court rule decision making that impacts the ADR field. The Section undertakes projects aimed at increasing the availability and quality of ADR services and strives to serve the community with such projects as the school mediation program and a unique online directory of ADR providers in Washington State.
