Jaime Hawk

JAIME M. HAWK is an Assistant Federal Public Defender with the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington where she practices federal criminal law. Prior to this position, she worked as a public defender and helped administer a juvenile justice pilot project in Grant County through the Washington Office of Public Defense, and prior to that, as an attorney fellow on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee staff of Edward M. Kennedy in Washington D.C. While at Gonzaga Law School, Hawk interned with the United Nations in the Balkans and Columbia Legal Services in Spokane. She was later a judicial extern to Chief Judge B. Lynn Winmill of the United States District Court of Idaho.
Jaime is the President of the WSBA Young Lawyers Division for 2008-2009. She serves on the ATJ Board Conference Planning Committee, the ATJ/WYLD GAAP Committee, and chairs the WYLD Long Range Planning Committee. She also serves of the Board of Washington Women Lawyers, King County Chapter, and the Center for Women and Democracy. She is a liaison to the ABA Commission on Domestic Violence and serves as the ABA YLD Public Service Co-Coordinator.
